The team at The Injury Law Firm worked together for over 15 years at the former firm of Krause, Moorhead and Draisen before opening The Injury Law Firm in January 2020. Daniel has been practicing law in the Upstate of SC since 1998 and specializes in all forms of injury litigation, construction and real estate litigation, and probate litigation.
Kathy started her career in law in 1979 with the distinguished V. Laniel Chapman, Esq., and then moved on to work at Hite and Stone in Abbeville, SC before joining Krause, Moorhead and Draisen. Daniel says of Kathy, “There is simply nothing this lady cannot do and do well. She is my right hand. I would be lost without her.”
Sommer worked in bookkeeping at a law office before joining Krause, Moorhead and Draisen, and is an essential part of the team at The Injury Law Firm handling all billing, accounting, and payroll. Sommer is also the pleasant voice you will likely hear answering the phone, and the smiling face you will see when coming to the office.

The Draisens own and operate a family farm in their spare time.

Danny Fulmer is a South Carolina native and has called Anderson home since 2018.
He graduated from Clemson University in 1991 (B.S. Animal Science, cum laude) and
the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1997. After several years in private
practice, Danny became a prosecutor for the 7th Judicial Circuit Solicitor’s Office, and
later for the 10 th Judicial Circuit Solicitor’s Office. During that time, he aggressively
prosecuted the full range of criminal offenses, from DUI’s and burglaries to aggravated
assaults and murders.
As part of the Injury Law Firm, Danny carries his prosecutor’s zeal to his representation
of clients. He fights hard for them, with the goal of achieving the best possible outcome
in each case, whether inside the court room or out.
Danny is married to his wife of 30 years, Brantlee. They have two teenage sons and
seem to always be caring for a stray cat or dog.
A dedicated attorney fights tirelessly for their client, combining sharp legal expertise with
unwavering commitment to secure the best possible outcome in every case. They
meticulously analyze evidence, craft compelling arguments, and navigate complex legal
challenges, always prioritizing their client’s interests. With strategic thinking and relentless advocacy, they strive to achieve justice, whether through skilled negotiation or fierce courtroom battles, ensuring each case is pursued with precision and passion.
I was born and raised in Anderson where I attended Westside High School and Tri-County Technical College. I have many years of experience working in the legal field. My primary function at The Injury Law Firm, PC will be to perform billing, bookkeeping and accounting functions of the firm, as well as greet clients with a professional and friendly attitude.
Before beginning my career, I was fortunate to spend several years as a stay at home mom while I volunteered at their school. As a family, we enjoy watching movies, traveling, spending time with family, spoiling our dog, Charlie, and of course, cheering for the Clemson Tigers!
I look forward to growing personally and professionally, and as a team, our firm will focus on our clients’ demands for an exceptional legal service experience.
In 2020, after being retired for ten years from our music store business where we worked for over 40 years, my son Daniel asked if I could come and help part-time in his law firm. I started working only a couple of hours a day answering the phone. As time passed, I was offered more duties. Now I do everything from answering the phone and taking information from prospective clients, to typing legal paperwork, and preparing closed files for scanning, and scanning them in the system. I also help with making coffee, doing kitchen cleanup, and taking care of Daniel’s French Bull Dog, Izzy.
I dearly love my firm family, and I know I can always count on them for help with any problems I might encounter. I also love working with my son, and I plan on being here as long as I am able.
I am from Hilton Head, South Carolina and graduated from Hilton Head Island High School with an International Baccalaureate diploma in 2021. I recently graduated from the University of Georgia where I received my B.S. in Psychology, B.A. in Criminal Justice, and B.A. in Sociology. When I’m not at work, I’ll be cheering on the dawgs, playing pickleball, or enjoying a good book. I am excited to be taking my first steps into my professional career here at The Injury Law Firm! I’ve always been interested in law and look forward to utilizing my skills in this new role!
